We decided to engage Build Professional to undertake a major renovation of our family home after we had met with them several times. Our decision was based on many contributing factors, those being strong references from past clients, a good relationship with the team and knowledge of their quality work. It was an easy decision as it was clear from the beginning that Matt and his team had listened to our brief and understood what we were wanting to achieve.
Our project was quite large, involving both an extension and a complete renovation of our existing house. It commenced at the beginning of COVID which for most businesses created uncertainty however Build Professional continued with business as usual to ensure the delivery of our project remained on schedule. Whilst renovations and extensions can be challenging we felt involved throughout the process and were impressed with the quality of the subcontractors that Build Professional had engaged. The site team were always willing to accommodate our schedules for meetings and to ensure we were kept up to date with the site activities and program. The team treated our house like their own and they always ensured they had understood our expectations and delivered accordingly.

Our hopes were high going into the project and we are delighted with how they were not only met but well and truly exceeded. We have been delivered a quality home that we love living in and this is a testament to the hard work and attention to detail applied by the Build Professional team.

We are so pleased with the results of our renovation by Build Professional, which has transformed our pokey 1970s home into a light, calming and functional space for our family.
Our project included the creation of a second bathroom, a new kitchen, deck extension and updates to windows, flooring and externals of the house. Having lived in the house for a number of years we came with plenty of ideas and questions!

Ryleigh worked so collaboratively and patiently with us to imagine old spaces into new, taking on board our ideas and bringing forward lots of excellent new solutions to meet the brief.

Through the selection phase Lynn provided outstanding support and was an amazing sounding board for our choices. Lynn really went above and beyond to help us achieve the look and feel of the house, bringing outside and inside together through colour and design.

Moving into the build phase was really smooth, with excellent communication about timeframes, sequencing and costs. Matt, Matt and Tim led the charge on construction, with Tim leading the tradie team and coordinating subcontractors to complete the demo and build to a quality standard. The regular site walk throughs with Tim and the other (excellent) tradies were really valuable and ensured everything was completed with functionality and quality finish in mind.

The Build team were really responsive when any issues arose, often identifying issues before we did, and worked with us to find solutions and offer clear advice to guide our decisions. BP really wowed us from start to finish with a strong commitment to communication (listening and keeping us updated), excellent project management and high quality results.

We’ve now been back in our ‘new’ house for 12 months and are in love with the results. While modest in size our house is an absolute joy to be in and functions so much better as a space we can live and relax in. Massive thanks to the whole BP team!

We needed help! Our place was quaint and charming but completely lacked functionality. With two growing boys (one requiring accessibility modifications) we needed to create more space without extending.
From our first interaction with Build Professional it was evident that they ticked all the boxes. Professional, robust processes and procedures, open communication and, design conscious without sacrificing function. Design and build was the perfect option for us, as we wanted someone else to take charge from beginning to end.

The design process was a complete breeze. The team listened to what we wanted and although we had a really good idea of how the space could look the design that they came up with was so much more beautiful and functional than we had imagined. It was also within budget.

We had lived through a number of renovations before so we were prepared and at no time were we left without the essentials for living such as hot water or electricity. We really appreciated that the construction phase was so well orchestrated. Everything was so well organised with all the trades coordinated so that the build time was as speedy as possible.

Build Professional went above and beyond on two occasions during the build process. The first when they noticed water damage in our bathroom that had been renovated 3 years prior. The team contacted the builder responsible and ensured that they rectified the damage in a timely manner.

The second occasion was when our heating system failed. The team were on it straight away, recommending a supplier that was competitive and could get a new system in very quickly.

We are so thrilled with the final result. We have a light filled kitchen dining space that leads onto our beautiful garden. The renovation has made our lives so much easier – especially in relation to accessibility for our youngest son.
