We had Build Professional extend our home to allow for multi-generational living (i.e. adding a fancy new wing for aging parents/growing children), and to create an outdoor alfresco area that was both attractive and functional. I wanted the extension to look like it really belonged to the existing home. I feel we have achieved all of that!
From the outset, Matt Hall and their design team were great, and super patient with my seemingly endless list of questions. We found that talking with the team that were also going to have to do the building, meant we got really practical answers and a quick, clear picture of how our design ideas translated to costs.

Having been a bit fearful about the actual building process, I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly things went (even in the midst of Covid restrictions). Our project manager was well organised, professional, and just really easy to work with. Similarly, we found their preferred subcontractors to be pleasant and of a generally high standard. We have certainly kept a list of names for future reference!

On the occasions where issues or queries did arise (no build is perfect), we felt that the team worked with us in a cooperative and reasonable way to resolve the issue, and to get an outcome we were happy with. We consistently felt that their team cared about what they were doing, and about the quality of the outcome.

We wouldn’t hesitate to use Build Professional again in the future.

The team’s communication with us was excellent. Each stage of the process was clearly explained, and we were kept up-to-date with what was occurring. Options or issues that arose were quickly communicated and addressed.

The thorough efforts of our project manager and the rest of the Build Professional team provided the foundation for a smooth and efficient approvals process and build. They were a pleasure to deal with. Once work started on site, our builder was exceptional. His workmanship, communication and site management were outstanding. Build Professional also set high standards for the other trades involved.

Our home now works fantastically for us as a family and we greatly enjoy living in it. We recommend Build Professional to others looking to renovate or extend.
